The Problem Solver : Be a good Listener and Reader

The Problem Solver Be a good Listener and Reader

Be a good Listener and Reader

Some people have an incessant need to talk, most of us actually, while we only have a handful of good listeners…but ever wondered who does that listener talk to? Who listens to him? he can have his monday blues too or he can be feeling a little low too…why is it that when you take great pain to explain how much pain you are in then people somehow devalue your problem? Seemingly they have a hard time believing that you can be in that great pain, because if you were, you would be more busy suffering from it than actually talking about it…why is your own version of your own problem always thought of as an exaggeration? And why cannot anyone just listen to you?? You have listened to what people had to say wholeheartedly more than you would have liked…placing yourself in their position and responding earnestly and yet logically rather than dismissing with nonchalant comments like “Uhmm,” “Ok” or “I agree” and then jumping in too soon to cut you off and start talking again! Why does every medium of communication come with a barrier??

You try and talk to your friend, they are too keen to feed you with advises than listen to you, you go to a guy friend and he is too eager to find you a solution ignoring the emotional aspect of your talk, you go to a therapist and he redirects the Read the rest of this entry

Air Putih Delapan Gelas Sehari?

Air Putih Delapan Gelas Sehari?

Air putih delapan gelas sehari?

Dua puluh persen air konsumsi didapat dari makanan kaya air contohnya sup, es (more…)

I Got My Chocolates and a Favourite Book

I think one of person I admire in my family is my grandmother. She’s now 79 years old. She’s a very well-respected member of our family. She’s a very determined woman, full of curiousities, she always speaks her mind, and even now that she’s in home all the time. Now she lives at an old people’s home, she’s still very forthright with her views. I think in some ways I’m like her but I try to be a little more diplomatic than she’s always been.

One day I think that’s a great idea to eat a bar of chocolate then I’m singing to get out from my room “Chocolate…chocolate…did I chocolatoholics?…Yes I’m!” I burst into song “Oooh that’s very nice idea! I mean I like chocolates, I don’t absolutely adore it but I do, I have to say I’m very fond of it. I do like chocolates, I could say I love chocolates. Oh I love chocolates.”

Suddenly my grandma heard, she was smile up in front and said to me “Oh dear, that sound was good.” I kept quiet “Alright, I have known before, but I want to ask you, if can answer it I’ll give you three bar of chocolates, deal?” I said “Ummm…that’s Read the rest of this entry

Homeland Day Trips

Lombok Island

Lombok Island

Weiw…interesting I remember litle about my homeland day trips, it is like a short holiday. I go somewhere and come back on the same day. When I was child I remember I used to go on day trips to the beach or day trips to the mountainside. When I was a child I lived in East Lombok with my beloved family, we often had visitors and we took them to local scrumptious places of interest on day trips, for example Sendang Gile Water Fall, Kuta Beach, Narmada Water Park, BanyumulekSasak Pottery’ Village, Gili Terawangan, and Mountainside of Rinjani. That’s great places for a day trips. Especially for Rinjani Mountain I was joined to Rinjani’s tracking with my high school student tracking community ‘Youth Rinjani Club’ on July 2006. Rinjani was the second highest mountaint in Indonesia Read the rest of this entry
